On Saturday, November 2, School-Business Partnerships of Long Island, Inc. (SBPLI) — also known as FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology) Long Island — in cooperation with the Half Hollow Hills School District, will present the Eighth Annual Half Hollow Hills (HHH) Invitational at the district’s west campus located at 375 Wolf Hill Road in Dix Hills. Zebra Technologies, a sponsor and partner of FIRST Long Island, has been working with FIRST in the United States for over 20 years now. Its sponsorship of the FIRST Robotics Competitions has worked so well for its U.S. employees because FIRST’s volunteerism structure offers something for everyone.
